Trump hammers Acosta as 'terrible' in epic showdown

Acosta began by asking Trump about the migrant caravan that is now making its way to the United States-Mexico border from Central America. "The president is best when he is on the road talking directly to the American people, and I think last night's results demonstrate that", says Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Mr Acosta persevered in his attempt to question the president, but Mr Trump told him: "That's enough".

He then tried to ask a question about the Russian Federation investigation, but Trump dismissed the question and told Acosta to "put down the mic". Trump lingered from his podium a few steps before returning to give Acosta an old-fashioned tongue-lashing.

Acosta was called "rude" by Trump who added that the way the reporter treats White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was "horrible".

In the long news conference, Trump warned House Democrats about spending the remaining years of his presidency investigating him and the administration.

"When you report fake news, which CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of the people", Trump told Acosta.

"In Jim's defense, I've traveled with him and watched him, he's a diligent reporter", Alexander said. I actually don't even know how to describe it. Trump interrupted her, calling it a racist question.

Wayne Rooney set for England farewell match
He went on to retire from worldwide football and was not part of England's World Cup squa in Russian Federation . So when I arrived back in England I was kind of afraid, not because of Rooney but because of England supporters.

Acosta persisted. Trump repeated, "That's enough!" and attempted to call on another reporter, all the while becoming more impatient.

First, he started off the day by threatening the Democrats, basically saying that if Dems in the House support Robert Mueller's investigation into foreign election interference, he'll push to investigate Democrats in the Senate for ... things. "I mean, I think she could have won that race, but she didn't want to have any embrace".

President Trump argued the GOP's expansion in the Senate clearly shows voters were upset by the Democrats' handling of the confirmation process for now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh. You are a rude and awful people and you shouldn't be working for CNN.

Acosta continued to argue over with the president over whether his campaign ad had been fair, pointing to images of people climbing over a wall. Acosta refused to sit down, then switched gears, asking the president if he is "concerned" about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing and still fruitless "Russiagate" investigation.

Trump said he "never" worries about any record of racist remarks because "I have never used racist remarks". If i did, you people - you would have known about it.

One recent survey from Rasmussen, a generally Trump-friendly poll, found that approval number at 36 per cent.
