Red Sox favored slightly over Dodgers in World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers are going back to the World Series, knocking off the upstart Milwaukee Brewers tonight 5-1 in a sudden-death Game 7 in the National League Championship Series.

On Saturday evening, the Dodgers announced that NLCS merchandise is now available on Dodgers.com and - starting tomorrow - at the Top of the Park store at Dodger Stadium tomorrow from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m.

This postseason has been unforgettable for the Brewers and the city of Milwaukee, but few will remember the Brewers' 2018 run like Erik Kratz, whose entire career has been validated by what he has done for his current club as they vie for their first World Series berth since 1982, when they were in the American League. They finally made it back to the playoffs this year. Justin Turner singled before Jeffress retired Manny Machado and got Cody Bellinger to bounce into a fielder's choice.

As the Brewers game ended Saturday night, October 20, with a loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers, fans were slower to leave Miller Park - many wishing their season wasn't over. "This team, what I just told them is that they took us on an fantastic journey". "Not only were they that close to winning it this year - we're going to ideal it next year". I play baseball. I love it. Bellinger followed with a two-run homer that gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead. But of all of the cool narratives that have made this NLCS must-watch TV, the most feel-good moment came prior to Game 6 involving Brewers' backstop Erik Kratz. Miller Park is going to be rocking.

"They had all the heart and soul and the family that it takes to make a winning team", said Chris Stanislowski from West Allis.

"All that stuff in the offseason, I'm not going to think about that for a while", Moustakas said after the loss in Game 7. "We showed what we're capable of", Brewers reliever, Corey Knebel, said.

"They took us on an unbelievable journey", Counsell said about his team.

The president's trip into Texas comes as Cruz faces a strong challenge from Democratic Rep. Trump . "What I heard about him, I figured he must be something a little special".

Yasiel Puig delivered arguably the biggest blow of Game 7 with a monster 3-run home run against the Milwaukee Brewers, and he knew exactly how to celebrate. It will be the second straight season in the Fall Classic for the Dodgers, as they lost to the Houston Astros in seven games previous year.

Los Angeles was looking for its second straight NL pennant and some time to prepare for the mighty Boston Red Sox in the World Series.

The Dodgers talked about their depth all season.

The Brewers could use Peralta, Burnes and Woodruff to strengthen their rotation next year, or they could be options for Counsell if he tries more of the bullpen-oriented approach he employed so successfully in the playoffs.

While Yelich put up monster numbers during the regular season, including a.326/.402/.598 batting line, 36 home runs, and a 1.000 OPS, his power all but evaporated during the Brewers' postseason run.

For the series, Bellinger finishes hitting just.160.
