Nick Saban is downright miserable after Alabama’s 34-point win over Arkansas

Tagovailoa fired four first-half touchdown passes, going 10-of-12 overall. We had lots of opportunities to get off the field on third down and we just didn't do it, which allowed them to extend drives. Backup tight end Cheyenne O'Grady caught seven of those passes for 48 yards and went into the end zone twice. I did not know about this until yesterday.

"We're obviously very thin and need some guys to step up and develop", Saban said.

Technically though, Tagovailoa still received credit for the touchdown pass, so he opened the game with a flawless completion percentage for two scores. On the Crimson Tide's second possession, Tagovailoa hit Smith again, and the 6-foot-4 junior ripped off another big gain before he was stripped from behind by Ryan Pulley.

Alabama got the ball back by forcing a fumble on the Razorbacks' opening series.

Alabama built leads of 21-0 and 34-14.

The former Florida quarterback said on ESPN's "First Take" Friday that he thinks Saban was spot on in calling out the Crimson Tide student section for their shoddy attendance against Louisiana-Monroe.

Arkansas had a chance to make things interesting in the second quarter after a Ty Storey touchdown pass was followed by a fourth down stop by the Razorbacks defense.

Alabama came into Saturday having not been tested all season long and that trend continued against Arkansas.
