Twitter loses it after woman closes her own vehicle door

"A user wrote, "#QueenOfTheWorld Meghan is losing her American accent".

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her mother Doria Ragland arrive at the launch of her cookbook featuring the recipes of women who lived in Grenfell Tower.

She went on to add that Meghan and Samantha - who wasn't invited to the wedding - have never been close, and probably never will be.

Meghan might be trying to send a message that she's the same simple girl, but as etiquette expert Mr Hanson reminds us 'life is very different for Meghan now she's joined The Firm -' no more selfies or autographs.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see how this "meeting" plays out - that's if it happens at all.

It was a royal event like any other: Meghan Markle-solo this time-pulls up in a regal black auto to the front gates of the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

While what she did may seem like what any other person would do, her actions became a hot topic on social media as Markle apparently broke royal protocol.

Second Kavanaugh accuser never contacted lawmakers; Grassley evaluating the claims
They include Kavanaugh's friend, Mike Judge, who Ford says was in the room when the alleged sexual attack occurred. Kavanaugh denies the women's allegations, calling Ramirez's claim "a smear, plain and simple".

Some social media users praised the Duchess for closing the door while others joked she may have cost someone their job.

"First time I've seen an on-duty princess shut her own auto door", wrote one Twitter user. Closing her own door humanized the Duchess, made her more relatable and more lovable.

Last week, in her first solo initiative as a royal, the duchess lent her support to the launch of a charity cookbook aimed at helping a community project formed following London's Grenfell Tower fire disaster past year in which 71 people died.

She is adored by the public and shadowed at every appearance by the press. Meghan wants other women to feel comfortable and be themselves, not conform to hackneyed stereotypes, but she needs to lead by real example, not vehicle door handle moments.

"Meghan clearly just shut the door out of force of habit". Plus she is totally used to doing that, is probably even a reflex! The Duchess paired this look with a black clutch by the same brand and her signature black pumps.

No doubt, many people would have done the same!
