Sanchez hammered after yet another poor display for Manchester United

Sanchez hammered after yet another poor display for Manchester United

Brazil global Fred opened scoring for the Red Devils in the 18th minute of the meeting through a Paul Pogba's assist.

But Mourinho was again left questioning the attitude of his players after what was a thoroughly deserved point for Wolves, who could have left with all three.

Mourinho said that after three straight wins - the most recent in the Champions League against Young Boys Bern on Wednesday - he was baffled by the performance.

Despite dominating possession, United struggled to make headway against a well-drilled Wolves team, who threatened to snatch a win at the end in a match that pitted Mourinho against his former reserve goalkeeper during his time at Porto, Nuno Espirito Santo.

"I am not saying we are going to have more points than last season because last season we collected a very acceptable level of points".

Pogba has already grabbed four goals in six games for United this season, which is the same tally he registered for the whole of the previous campaign.

"I could go in this direction, but we had [Jesse] Lingard and Alexis [Sanchez], they didn't play, [Marouane] Fellaini played 20-25 minutes, Fred played 60 minutes, [Antonio] Valencia also didn't play".

"I am optimistic, but a hard season, yes", Mourinho said.

Oil prices steady as concerns about producer output outweigh USA stockpile gain
Brent may fall more than $1 to $76.37 a barrel, while WTI crude prices may revisit their September 14 low of $67.94, he wrote. But the current calm could be short-lived in light of the intensification of USA hostilities toward Iran , according to IEA .

"And I could say [we were] exhausted, Champions League, terrible pitch [at Young Boys], the body suffered a different impact than a match in natural grass, not coming home after the match".

"I'm proud of the way we started the game, and proud of the character we showed after, when we were (1-0 down)", he said.

"That is the attitude that I like my team to have".

"We didn't have a team that was in big trouble with an accumulation of matches".

"It is fantastic news for everyone, not just for the Manchester United family, I think for everybody", Mourinho said of Ferguson's presence in the crowd.

'You don't have much time to have the ball, to turn, to one-touch.

This is all you have to know about how unsustainable United's performances are if they are to actually try and do something special this season.

"Of course, we had a better result and one point is better than zero".
