Jerome Boateng reveals what he told Jose Mourinho during summer phone call

The latest example of this comes from CalcioMercato, who suggest Jose Mourinho is eyeing a move for Juventus' Argentina worldwide, Paulo Dybala.

France's Le 10Sport seem to think that the gears are already in motion for Zidane's move to Manchester, reporting that the 46-year-old has already held talks with United and wishes to bring Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann with him to the club.

After identifying Toby Alderweireld as his top choice, Mourinho then moved on to the likes of Boateng, Harry Maguire, Yerry Mina, Diego Godin and Kurt Zouma.

"I make no secret I want to become like him".

"I had enquiries from Paris-Saint Germain and Manchester United, and I considered them", the former Manchester City defender told Bild. It was no escape, but rather the thrill of a new challenge.

"As a fan, honestly, part of me is that no one is bigger than the club and I am not interested in people who are looking left and right".

We wanted to finish the game strongly. "José [Mourinho] thinks the world of Marcus - he's a huge admirer of him - but he has his job to do".

Manchester United is not the only club who wants to sign the superstar.

"I explained to Jose that it's hard to leave Bayern, and if I do, everything has to be in place to top this club".

Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure has described Paul Pogba as a "show off" and expects the Manchester United star to play an important role at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

"I think that as soon as we begin to think the next game is going to be easier for some reason, we are dead. we will pay heavily for any sense of over-confidence against a team like United". He won the Champions League with the side in 2013, six consecutive Bundesliga titles and three German Cups.

Rashford has struggled for time on the pitch at United this season with Mourinho able to pick from a clutch of attacking options including Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata.
