Upcoming Apple iPhones to Have Dual SIM and Dual 4G Functionality

The basic iPhone XS is expected to be an update X with a OLED 5.8-inch screen. The leaked iPhone 9 page from Apple's website shows all the colour variants of the iPhone 9, out of which the confirmed variants are the Space Grey, Red, Spicy Orange and Cobalt Blue.

The new iPhone X iteration is also expected to be joined by a larger version, possibly called the iPhone XS Max rather than "Plus", "Pro" or other monikers as used in previous bigger versions such last year's iPhone 8 Plus.

While most people expect the largest 6.5-inch "iPhone XS Max/Plus" to face supply shortages, Bloomberg says the new 6.1-inch iPhone - tentatively dubbed "iPhone 9", "iPhone XC" or "XR" - might also ship in "limited quantities, initially". We'll find out properly (along with a showcase of whatever the inevitable gimmicky thing is) on September 12th at Apple's big announcement event.

Issues manufacturing the LCDs for the low-priced iPhone may very well cause problems with supply at launch, but pricing could also create shortages.

Governor declares State of Emergency ahead of Florence
As Tropical Storm Florence continued making its way toward the East Coast, North Carolina's governor issued a state of emergency. Since Florence is now a tropical storm , it is maintaining a more southerly and westerly track than thought.

The event will take place on Wednesday morning at 10am pacific time (7pm South African time) at the Steve Jobs Theatre in California. And so far, there's a lot of info that's trickled down via rumours and leaks that seem like a lock for September 12, including Apple's plan to introduce three new iPhones, with the new iPhone Xs serving as the successor to last year's iPhone X. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details! This year may be the same, though we haven't heard much about the smaller model. Whether or not that means these devices can actually run iOS is unknown.

Oh, and you may have noticed "iPhone Xs Max" mentioned up there; that's the rumoured name of the 6.5-inch model.

What's particularly interestingly about this weekend's leak, is that according to The Apple Post, the screenshots pictured may have leaked courtesy of Apple, itself. However, the product has buoyed revenue from Apple's "Other Products" segment, which also includes the Apple TV, HomePod, and AirPods.

We already know what the Apple Watch Series 4 will look like, with narrower bezels.
