Titans TE Delanie Walker carted off with lower leg injury

This has been an absolutely disastrous opening Sunday for Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Titans tight end Delanie Walker was carted off the field later in the period with a right leg injury, and tackle Taylor Lewan suffered a concussion, all of which meant a miserable start for Mike Vrabel in his head coaching debut.

Tannehill completed 20 of 28 for 230 yards with two touchdowns to receiver Kenny Stills and two interceptions during the Titans win, his first start since December 2016.

The game didn't resume until almost two hours later, when the AFC squads came onto the field to close the half.

The Dolphins had stellar contributions from Jones (two interceptions), Stills (two touchdown catches) and Frank Gore (61 yards in nine carries).

"I couldn't feel my fingers, feel my hand", Mariota said.

There will be promotion for the group winners in Leagues B-D and relegation for the last-place group teams in Leagues A-C. Playoffs will be for teams that failed to earn a direct Euro 2020 entry through the qualifying groups.

"The second one was even more wild because we were sitting there, told it was probably going to be 7:30, and come in at 6:30 and they say 'you're on the field in 10 minutes.' You can imagine there was a lot of scrambling to get ready to go".

"I wasn't as sharp as I like to be", he said. "I was just trying to make him aware of it".

FRACAS: Lewan appeared to be briefly knocked out when flattened on Andre Branch's blindside block during an interception return by Reshad Jones.

The Titans took a drive from the third quarter through the beginning of the fourth frame - lasting 4:48 and covering 75 yards - and capped it off with a Dion Lewis touchdown to tie the game at 10-10. Lewan was removed from the game following the play.

The Dolphins play at the New York Jets next Sunday.

ANTHEM: Colin Kaepernick, a leader of the protest movement by NFL players against social injustice, tweeted his support after Dolphins receivers Stills and Albert Wilson knelt during the national anthem.
