Taylor Swift Pauses Concert to Pay Tribute to Aretha Franklin

Former President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, Lebron James and Faith Hill to name a few, but those directing the service said they are focusing on Franklin's family.

Franklin passed away at 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

On Wednesday, people continued to stream in for a second day to pay their respects to Franklin as she lay in repose in the rotunda of Detroit's Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.

Completely befitting of the Queen of Soul's grace and pageantry, Aretha Franklin's final ride is in a stunning 1940 LaSalle hearse that previously carried her father as well as Rosa Parks.

The public is paying respects to Franklin during a two-day viewing at a Detroit museum.

The result has been a week's worth of activities in Franklin's hometown of Detroit meant to pay homage to a woman who helped define the city. "Michelle and I send our prayers and warmest sympathies to her family and all those moved by her song", the family added. My husband said, I know you're not going to put on Aretha's hat - that hat - and go down there.

Teddy Bridgewater Reportedly Had Crazy End To Tenure With Jets
Bridgewater arguably outplayed Darnold this summer, going 28 of 38 for 316 yards, two TDs and one interception. The Saints appear to have made a decision to upgrade at backup quarterback behind Drew Brees this year.

One of Taylor's support acts, Havana star Camila Cabello, also honored Aretha during her set.

"During the '70s, anything she made during that time, we were just dancing to and enjoying it", amusing said.

So how are they holding it all together and getting it all done? Even the most boisterous mourners were muted after passing through for their viewings. Cameras and other electronic devices were prohibited, and visitors were not permitted to bring in handbags.

At least 1,000 Delta Sigma Thetas from across the country attended the service, which lasted almost an hour and is traditionally performed for any member before her funeral.

"She never forgot from which she came", Penn said. "She had a smile on her face". Her music evoked thought and encouraged people to look at the world and think of hope and possibility.
