Red Dead Redemption 2 gets long-awaited gameplay footage

Arthur Morgan and his gang of outlaws are causing more trouble as they try to survive in a world where outlaws are becoming irrelevant and modern technology is starting to have a much greater influence. It's been eight years since the first game came out, and you can bet that Rockstar has used that time to ideal Red Dead Redemption 2.

This Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer immediately throws us into the action, quite literally starting off with a bang. Your choices will shape your experience, and getting to know more people can help you learn secrets and open up side quests.

As previously stated, you play as Arthur Morgan, part of the Van der Linde Gang.

So, looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 will play a lot like the first Red Dead Redemption!

Backed Republican leads close U.S. House race in Ohio
Polls closed at 7:30 p.m., leaving Democrat Danny O'Connor and Republican Troy Balderson to await their fates in the tight race. All 435 House seats, 35 of 100 Senate seats and 36 of 50 governors' offices are up for grabs in November.

The video provides a nice, general overview of Red Dead Redemption 2, giving us a peek at fighting, shooting, camp/gang management, character interaction, and, of course, plenty of gorgeous, varied vistas.

As promised Rockstar dropped a new RDR2 trailer that's six minutes of in-game goodness, showing off both technical feats as well as a few tidbits like the game's dead eye aiming system and a glimpse of specific areas.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 Official Gameplay Video will go live today, Thursday 9, at 11AM ET, 8AM PT, 4PM BST. That's changed, with the first gameplay trailer out...well, out right now. John Marston, the protagonist of the previous games, is set to make an appearance.

Red Dead Redemption 2 features a vast American landscape to rob, shoot, and travel across.
