Brad Pitt Has 'Paid Millions' to Angelina Jolie for Child Support

Jolie's lawyers have just filed documents requesting the judge to issue a final divorce decree before the year is over, and the documents also claimed that Pitt hasn't paid "meaningful child support" since the couple separated in September 2016. Now, she's filed divorce papers in court asking for the star to both pay child support and retroactively pay what he's missed.

Quoting an insider, People magazine reported that the 54-year-old actor had in fact provided financial support in an amount 'far more than any informal agreement would stipulate and far more than any judge would have ordered paid if there had been such an order'.

According to an NBC News report, Jolie will now force Pitt to pay the child support, however, the two-page file does not define what constitutes as "meaningful support". In the June court documents, it showed that Angelina was at risk of losing full custody of her children if, depending on the circumstances, the children remained closed off to their dad. "The motion today was just created to move that process forward on those issues, including financial disclosure and child support", a source close to Jolie explained to E!

Pitt's net worth as of 2018 has been estimated at around $240 million. Jolie had taken a job in London, bringing the kids with her, so the leak did not make her look good.

She asked the judge to arrange a meeting to discuss the issue.

But sources close to Pitt said Jolie has been "extremely difficult" during the negotiations and that he had told her he'd had enough of the endless back-and-forth over the kids.

Since then, the two have been engaged in an ongoing custody battle for their six children - Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox ― as their seemingly never-ending and often combative divorce proceedings continue.

"She has gotten a reputation of being very unreasonable throughout this divorce and things seems to be getting worse", the source adds.
