Man City furious at ‘unprofessional’ Napoli over Jorginho and updated midfielder plans

Premier League giants, Chelsea have officially announced the sacking of their Italian manager, Antonio Conte on their social media handle.

"Chelsea Football Club and Antonio Conte have parted company", a statement on the club's official website read.

Conte thanked his players, staff and the Blues fans, adding: "It was fantastic for me to be able to share my emotions, passion and enthusiasm throughout two unforgettable seasons with these incredible Chelsea supporters, who will always stay in my heart".

During three years with Napoli, Sarri's side finished Serie A runners-up twice.

Jorginho played an important role in Sarri's Napoli and the deep-lying playmaker is seen as the ideal fit for the high-tempo, possession-based style of play that the new boss is expected to bring to Chelsea.

France beats Croatia to win World Cup final
Putin was later on the field during a downpour to award medals to the players. "It's a young team who are on the top of the world. After a period of France domination, Croatia got their equaliser through a wonderful strike from Perisic on 29 minutes.

Maurizio Sarri will not be taking his old backroom staff from Napoli to Chelsea and is only bringing in Gianfranco Zola as his number two.

That had appeared to open the door to a move to Chelsea, where Conte had become an increasingly-antagonistic presence as they failed to defend the Premier League title, finishing in a lowly fifth place.

"I was just irritable", Sarri said at the time.

"They didn't compete past year in the Premier League and I think when you look at those circumstances, there is a chance of you losing your job - whoever you are", claimed Wise. "I am excited to play in such an intense league, for a team that gives everything to play and win".

Aurelio De Laurentiis said the transfer did not depend on whether or not outgoing Napoli head coach Maurizio Sarri finalised terms to take over from Antonio Conte at Chelsea, despite confirming the deal was close to completion.
