Bron: James agrees to 4-year contract with Lakers

"LeBron James, four time NBA MVP, three time NBA finals MVP, fourteen time NBA All Star, and two time Olympic gold medalist has agreed to a four year, $154 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers".

"Thank you Northeast Ohio for an incredible four seasons", said James on his Instagram account.

Kevin Love has been one of the Cleveland Cavaliers' "big three" over the last few years, but times are changing.

The Lakers had a large amount of cap space to work with.

"It was just Johnson, James, and (James" agent Rich) Paul, discussing everything from business to basketball to social activism.

Derek Carr has been a loyal fan of the Lakers since his childhood, and has tried his best to recruit his good friend, and NBA All-Star, Paul George to the squad for years now, but he seems more than okay with the addition of LeBron instead. But those rumors also came with the idea of James luring Paul George to L.A. George instead chose to re-sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, so James and the Lakers will need to go in a different direction to made further upgrades to their roster.

"Um, I did, I did, "James told GQ in an in-depth interview last summer when he was asked if Gilbert's first letter was racial".

He played in Miami for four seasons and won two championships before he re-signed with the Cavaliers in July 2014.

But since the video was posted, and went viral, Ettel says she's received "all kinds of threats". Austin and Rogers said that they would not be accepting Ettel's apology, NBC News reported .

James isn't expected to drag his choice out over several days.

Cleveland was 12-1 on Friday when it was still in the running to retain James.

The Lakers' prize free agent, of course, wore No. 23 at St. Vincent St. Mary High School and all of his 11 seasons with the Cavaliers.

Gilbert began the note by affectionately looking back at the moment when his franchise had reached the summit of the National Basketball Association two years ago.

It's hard to read too much into this, as far as where James may land.

By declining his option, James positioned himself to be able to choose where he'll play next, and Cleveland remains a strong possibility, even though he declined his option for next season.

That's made it tough for Cleveland to upgrade its roster, but the Cavs remain committed to bringing back James even for just one more year.

"The Lakers are FOREVER gonna be Kobe's and Magic's team...."
