Antoine Griezmann Finally Makes Decision On His Future

Antoine Griezmann has confirmed that he will stay at Atletico Madrid after announcing his decision at the end of a television documentary.

Barcelona were reported to have made huge advances in their bid to sign him when the new clause came into existence and the Catalan club's President Josep Maria Bartomeu admitted he had spoken to the player's representatives about a move.

Others made jokes at the 27-year-old's expense: 'Glad Griezmann has sorted out his future.

Griezmann will now focus fully on France's World Cup Group C campaign which starts on Saturday against Australia.

Griezmann took to Twitter and conveyed the message "My fans, my team, MY HOME!" in Spanish, French and English along with a video in which he is seen walking around Madrid as the Amanda Delara song "We Don't Run From Anyone" plays.

Griezmann scored 29 goals in 48 games for Atletico last season, as Diego Simeone's men battled to second place in La Liga and also lifted the Europa League. At Barcelona, I would just be one more.

"What makes me wonder is that if they bring players can win the Champions here and walk into the club's history".

Two days before the final of the Europa League, he said: "Everyone tells me to go, go away, they think I have everything done and I do not tell them".
