Liverpool set to seal move for Nabil Fekir 'on Friday'

Liverpool are pushing to get a deal done to sign Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir before he departs for the World Cup with France, Sky sources understand.

But Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas earlier said the deal would NOT go through until after the World Cup.

"Talks between the clubs could conclude on Friday about a deal that may amount to 60m euros", reported the BBC.

However, L'Equipe have offered Liverpool fans a boost before the worldwide tournament that kicks off next week, with the French outlet claiming that a deal is very close to being complete.

The France global had not been expected to finalise a switch to Merseyside before the end of this summer's World Cup.

Liverpool now hope to iron out the fine details of Fekir's move to the club and are optimistic of finalising a £55m transfer in the next 24 hours, according to the Mirror.

US employers keep on hiring despite growing trade concerns
It is not required for the president to see the jobs report number in advance. "He didn't give any numbers". They said we don't make things in America anymore, because the Chinese will do it at slave labor rates.

"The record is at a standstill, there is no way forward", said Jean-Michel Aulas. "This transfer window can be long".

This news will be music to the ears of Liverpool fans as the man touted as the long-term Coutinho replacement looks finally set to don the famous red jersey and call Anfield his new home.

'We haven't set a starting price because we haven't discussed that yet'.

An agreement with Naby Keita of RB Leipzig was struck this time past year, while Monaco midfielder Fabinho has moved to Anfield as well.

Where do you think Fekir will play for Liverpool should they sign him?
