Trump escalates fight with ABC after 'Roseanne' cancellation

I'm disappointed by her actions, to say the least.

Instead of severing ties with Barr, he went after Iger on Twitter for his apology to Jarrett. She also got her show cancelled over it, so idiot probably applies nicely as well. I told them I was willing to do anything and asked for help in making things right. But her show drew praise from President Donald Trump, who attributed its popularity in part to his supporters.

Barr attacked her castmates on Wednesday, accusing them of throwing her "under the bus", but she was in a more forgiving mood as she returned to social media to address the fall-out following the drama.

They say ABC's issue is that the characters in Roseanne were created by Barr and Matt Williams, and if the sitcom carried on without her she would still rake it in.

But Barr's pleas for mercy were rejected by Disney/ABC Television Group President Ben Sherwood who deemed the actor' racist and anti-Semitic posts were beyond redemption, according to the Roseanne star. It's not a one time joke, OK.

Arnold, who was married to Roseanne from 1990-94, said the drama could have been avoided if someone kept Roseanne's phone away from her, but nobody was successful-or, perhaps, courageous enough. As they say in the movies: "one down, one to go".

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has maintained a hard line against the North, calling for continued sanctions and a maximum-pressure campaign on Pyongyang.

In a since-deleted overnight tweet, Barr blamed a dose of Ambien for the incendiary tweet in which she likened Valerie Jarrett, an African American former White House aide, to an ape. Michael Fishman, the third Conner child, condemned Barr's remark in a thoughtful statement, to which Barr responded that he "threw [her] under the bus". "I can't let myself cave in tho".

As for how he's doing now that he's out of a job (for now, at least), Goodman reassured that things were going okay for him.

"He was upset that she made him do something that was not his job or in his job description - and he wasn't her assistant", the source told the news outlet.

On his Twitter and Facebook accounts, Moore posted a video from Roseanne's late 1990s talk show, "The Roseanne Show", featuring both Moore and Trump.

Barr has offered a mixture of apologies (her own), anger and bitterness (via followers she has retweeted) since the firestorm began over the tweet and her show got canceled.
