Rockets fans pumped for Western Conference Finals showdown vs. Warriors

This one is going to be a tough, uphill battle but you know the series victor is likely a heavy favorite in the NBA Finals.

Houston won two of three meetings against the Warriors during the regular season.

Over the course of 82 games and the first two rounds of this year's playoffs, the entire basketball world anticipated a collision course between the sport's two most dominant forces: the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets. But after missing almost six weeks with a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee, Curry clocked in for four games of the second round against the Pelicans. He played 27 minutes on his return when he came off the bench, and the coach revealed the precaution was due to his conditioning and not because of the knee injury. He added eight assists and seven rebounds in Game 5. They will now play against the Golden State Warriors in the Conference Finals after accomplishing a 4-1 series win.

The Golden State Warriors went with their "Death Lineup" again in Game 5. The six times Golden State was listed an underdog in the regular season, it lost five times.

Mitchell took over the third quarter and willed the Jazz back into contention.

North Korea says denuclearization pledge not result of US-led sanctions
Mr Trump this week expressed a preference for the DMZ but also said Singapore was possible. Mr Trump is to push North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons.

But now, as these two franchises square up again on the same stage three years later, the Rockets are much different and much more risky.

In short, both sets of numbers are tremendous (if not eerily similar) and, considering Paul's overall profile as a regular season player doesn't appear to be in question, it is odd that his individual playoff performance has been.

Durant also spoke about the tough challenge the Houston Rockets will present during the Western Conference Finals. The Warriors have won every time. He connected on 8 of 10 3-pointers and teamed with Tucker to put down the Jazz for good, scoring 13 consecutive points before feeding Tucker for a corner 3 that pushed Houston's lead to 110-100 with 35 seconds left. Teamed with James Harden in Houston this season, Paul let someone else quarterback the squad. And while the Pelicans were able to rally late in the fourth, it wasn't enough. The point guard played a crucial role in helping them make a fourth straight Western Conference final.

The Western Conference Finals get underway in the Lone Star State with the two teams that most expected to be here squaring off.

Houston's Hall of Fame talent is represented by their superstar guards James Harden and Chris Paul. "I don't know what it's supposed to feel like, but we've still got a lot of work to do". The Rockets are still getting more home games if this series goes 7 games, though.
