NBA Issues Drake A Warning Over "Use Of Bad Language"

NBA Issues Drake A Warning Over

While no fight broke out, it seemed to warrant enough of a concern that the National Basketball Association has reportedly given Drake a warning on his choice of language during games. Perkins said he told Raptors player and his former teammate Serge Ibaka at halftime that the Cavaliers were going to beat them.

Drake, a Toronto Raptors fan who is frequently seen giving animated courtside support, verbally sparred with Cleveland Cavaliers player Kendrick Perkins on 1 May.

A report from the website Hip Hop Overload goes on to say that LeBron James may have told Kendrick Perkins to fight Drake.

The Raptors also discussed the viral incident with the rap mogul, who is a global ambassador for the team.

The NBA has a fan code of conduct that calls for spectators to behave without disruption.

There's just such a positive vibe around here and it really originates from Matt and it's infectious through the whole building. Daniels' selection could signal a full-time move to guard for Cody Whitehair, who has bounced between that position and center.

"I love Drake. Believe me whatever he said to Perk, I have heard a lot worse in other arenas to me", Casey said Wednesday. "I mean, really. If he leaves me alone, I'll leave him alone, and that's all there is".

The pair exchanged words as the Raptors and Cavaliers headed to the tunnels at halftime.

He was asked by Cavs' security after game one if he wanted an escort to the team bus in case he ran into Drake.

The star rapper took his seat with some three minutes left in the first quarter Thursday and Toronto leading 25-20 in Game 2 on their second-round playoff series.

The Raptors hosted game two on Thursday and Cleveland won 128-110.
