LeBron James Hits Epic Game-Winning Buzzer-Beater Against Indiana Pacers

"That third quarter got us back in the game".

LeBron James helped Cleveland snatch victory from the Pacers on Wednesday, while adding yet another chapter of greatness to his resume. The Pacers have actually outscored the Cavs by 10 points (482-472), thanks to an 18-point blowout in Game 1.

There's ugly, and then there's what we've witnessed from the non-LeBrons through five playoff games.

It would not be a stretch to say that the new additions have not performed as expected in the postseason. There are no guarantees in a game where even the best process can clang off the rim, but there is some sort of relief in knowing that James will give any opportunity a near-optimal chance to play out to its fullest.

It's games like this that will make that first National Basketball Association title so awesome someday. The Cavs surrendered a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter as it was.

You could make a compelling case that the Cavs should have already won the series.

Before that outrageous piece of larceny, the Pacers possessed all the momentum and were surely about to take a 3-2 lead back home for the final two matches in the best-of-seven series.

Donald Trump tweets he's considering pardon of boxer Jack Johnson
Lawyers for the Justice Department at the time argued that Johnson's relationship with a white woman was a "crime against nature". He skipped bail and fled to Europe, but served nearly a year behind bars when he returned to the 1920.

LEBRON. JAMES. For the win!

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers meet Friday in game six of the first round of the National Basketball Association playoffs at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. They can now advance to the next round if they win in Indianapolis on Friday. James has done it to the Pacers three times. The others to accomplish the feat: Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson. James recovered quick and pinned the shot off the backboard. This was crucial, given Kevin Love's abysmal 2-of-11 shooting (just 1 three), and JR Smith, the usual three point barnburner, being held to a grand total of 0 points off 8 shots.

"I try to make plays like that all the time", James told reporters during the post-game press conference. It capped a performance in which Cleveland needed all of his 44 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in a 98-95 nail-biter, and it could prove the decisive blow in a hard-fought battle with Indiana. The shooting percentage might show his high minutes and usage rate throughout the series, and he's simply exhausted by the time he gets to the end.

The Cavaliers enter Game 6 in IN with a huge mental edge.

But if not the Cavaliers, then who will have the pleasure of getting absolutely demolished by the Warriors or Rockets in the Finals? With free agency approaching, that's the context that's impossible to ignore as James faces his most hard first-round opponent in the upstart Pacers.

The show might be painful to watch at times, and the supporting cast might elicit nearly all curse words.
