Snap has now released the Snapchat Spectacles 2 - a wearable pair of glasses that serves as a follow-up to their first foray into the hardware field.

Those proved to be pretty popular for the company, with lines cropping up all over the United States as Snap launched vending machines in random spots to sell the product. These changes will hopefully to alleviate some of the loss Snap experienced with their first generation Spectacles.

Snap is reportedly working on another version of Spectacles, which could have augmented reality or possibly Global Positioning System capability.

In addition to looking better, Snap Inc. also ensures that Spectacles are more comfortable to wear. It syncs with your phone by just using Bluetooth and the videos/images transfer is now 4 times faster compared to the old version of spectacles.

Overall, we think the new Spectacles look much more mature than the previous model.

As part of the move, Ford will be phasing out sales of traditional sedans and hatchbacks in the North American market. Ford says that it "maintains the highest transaction prices of any full-line automaker - $36,300 per vehicle".

It also said it wanted the Spectacles to let users "live in the moment" while they snapchatted their lives.

Users now have the option to capture 10-second video clips (extendable to 30-seconds) or, for the first time, still photos. When you press and hold the button, you'll be able to snap a photo.

As of last October, the self-described camera company had sold about 150,000 pairs of Spectacles, according to CEO Evan Spiegel. As before, the glasses charge through their carry case. The price includes the case and the charger for the glasses. The stock decreased 6.97% or $1.09 during the last trading session, hitting $14.54.Snap Inc. has 46.88 million shares volume, 66.63% up from normal.

The new Spectacles come in three jewel tones i.e. onyx (black), ruby (red), and sapphire (blue), and are available to order starting today at for $199 CAD. Those that are looking for a prescription version will be happy to know that now that is a possibility and will be offered through Lensabl for an additional $125.

Users can capture up to 70 videos on a single charge.
