Abby Lee Miller Diagnosed With Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Following Release From Jail

Reality star Abby Lee Miller received a shock one day after emergency spinal surgery for what doctor's believed initially to be an infection. After doing tests, however, it was revealed that she was suffering from Burkitt Lymphoma - a type of non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

"We're getting an oncologist involved and we have to figure out what the next steps are as far as chemotherapy or radiation or more spine surgery", said Dr Melamed, Miller's surgeon at Cedar-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital. He told People, this is a preliminary diagnosis but he anticipates she will need chemotherapy or radiation dependent on the "sensitivity of the tumor". "She had what appeared to be an infection that went from the bottom of her neck to the 11th vertebrae in the mid-part of the spine".

Though the choreographer is overwhelmed by her cancer diagnosis, a source close to Miller told Us Weekly she 'is strong and trying to put on a courageous face'.

While Melamed says he's more "optimistic" as Miller is now starting to regain sensation, "we're still not out of the woods".

What is said to have happened in the Douma attack? It did not elaborate or say who carried out the airstrikes. A Pentagon spokesperson told Reuters: "There is no U.S. military activity in that area at this time".

The former reality star has been transferred to a halfway house.

Not long after her release from prison, the "Dance Moms" diva was sent via ambulance to a local LA hospital where she was treated for a thyroid condition two weeks ago. "When Abby first went to the ER, she was nearly unable to move [her] arms and legs and was having trouble getting out of bed". "Nobody wants to end up thinking they're going to be paralyzed for the rest of their life.I am hopeful". Also, they have to start pushing her body, brain, and spinal cord for recovery.

Despite the health scares, Miller was feeling "great" earlier this year after losing 100 pounds, Entertainment Tonight reported. He was able to release some of the pressure on her spine, and Miller will have an 18-inch scar.

In January, she posted an image on Instagram and wrote that she is sorry for the mistakes she's made and that she used her time in prison to try to better herself.
