Confusing Profile Emerges of YouTube HQ Shooter Nasim Aghdam

Mountain View police dismissed the suggestion they did nothing and refuted the brother's description of the call.

Senior Deputy City Attorney Leslie Jensen cited an exception for records of ongoing law enforcement investigations but provided no explanation.

San Diego sheriff's Lt. Karen Stubkjaer said Thursday that the father never told deputies that she was a danger to herself or others when he reported her missing.

When officers found Nasim Aghdam, she was in her auto near a strip mall in Mountain View, about 25 miles from YouTube and home to the company's owner, Silicon Valley giant Google.

"At no point during our roughly 20 minute interaction with her did she mention anything about YouTube, if she was upset with them, or that she had planned to harm herself or others. she was calm and cooperative", Mountain View police said. During the shooting, she swapped out a magazine and shot from the second magazine when she killed herself.

Tehran residents have expressed pity and shock that an Iranian-American woman, relatively known in Iran's social media circles, was the shooter at YouTube headquarters in California who wounded three people before killing herself.

But Mountain View police said they received no warning that Aghdam might do anything violent.

He said the 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun was legally purchased January 16 and registered in her name. "I didn't know she had a gun I thought she'd start a fight or something", said her brother.

Investigators do not believe Nasim Aghdam specifically targeted the three victims when she pulled out a handgun and fired off several rounds in a courtyard at the company's headquarters.

In August , the EPA's inspector general began investigating a number of expensive, taxpayer-funded trips Pruitt took. She flew trainer and wasn't followed by safety during her hours, for example on weekend excursions house to Boston.

Police then called her family to report that she had been found.

Sheriff's officials declined to provide further details about what was reported.

Aghdam's YouTube, Facebook and Instagram pages have all been removed since the shooting, but not before reporters were able to view much of her content.

Three people were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, according to a spokesman, including a 36-year-old man in critical condition, a 32-year-old woman in serious condition and a 27-year-old woman in fair condition. State TV briefly reported the shooting based on global reports.

Aghdam also ran a Farsi-language public channel on the messaging app Telegram, which had 6,000 followers.

"She didn't hurt one ant", said Ismail Aghdam, the father of YouTube shooter Nasim Aghdam.

Aghdam used the name "Nasime Sabz" online, and a website in that name decried YouTube's policies and said the company was trying to "suppress" content creators. The information is so readily available because Aghdam was a creative contributor on Youtube's video platform. "They age restricted my ab workout video". Monday night, Nasim slept in her auto, and her father reported her missing.

She told Vegan Idea World: "From a very young age I used to care about the animals and their welfare, and think about the source of meat and where it came from and I knew that the fried chicken on my dinner plate once was a handsome yellow chick".
