Washington Track Teams Place Fourth at Lindenwood

Ramsey was victorious in the 100-meters with a time of 13.23 and won the 100-meter hurdles (19.01).

Moving into relay action, the E-Hawks' 4x200 relay of Cole Shirk, Ben Dunlap, Mason Griffin and Colby Weir, earned a 10th place finish with a time of 2:50.42, while the foursome of Jacob Myers, Flavio Panci, Andrew Walker and Clayton Swanson finished 14th in a tim of 1:53.84, while the relay composed of Gauje Hayenga, Wesleigh Plantz, Jose Alcala and Cole Keller finished in 18th place with a time of 1:59.89.

Javan Lanier, sophomore of Aurora, Colorado, won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.22 seconds and Isaac Grimes, freshman of Rancho Verde, California won the long jump with a leap of 23 feet, 8 inches.

Christina Palmer continued the Cardinals shot put dominance with a fourth-place finish (35-00). 2017 graduate Antonique Butler qualified in the triple jump.

All four relay teams finished in the top seven, both 800-meter runners placed, and Maria Marzuco added a point as Valle tied with Whitfield for 10th place with 14 points. Vander Leest won the race in 15.94 seconds and Dunsbergen ran third in 17.61.

Suggs was also a part of the winning boys 1,600-meter relay team, which finished in 3:40.21. The Red Devil women swept the 800 meters, with Allyson Yanega placing first, Hannah Gore '18 placing second, and Farrell placing third. South Loup's Jessie Sallach won the girls shot put and the South Loup girls won the 4X100 meter relay.

Deryn Taylor took first place in the 110 M Hurdles with a time of 16.90 and Brian Cash earned first place in the 300 M Hurdles (41.46).

Other girls winners include Kylee Minehan (G) in the 1600; Regan Wheatly (G) in the 100 hurdles; Sarah DeSmet (B) in the 400; Maggioncalda (G) in the 100 and 200; Minehan (G) in the 800; Jasmine Garcia (W) in the 300 hurdles.

The Rockets' girls track team finished third in Wednesday's quad-meet.

The Rockets' 4X800 team of Breeze, Street, Hughes and Justin Neathery posted a winning time of 10.66.

In the 400 M Dash, Flags landed in fifth place with a time of 1:08.8 and Harrington took sixth (1:10.06).

Vahkael Harris picked up a third-place result in the shot put with a best effort of 25-feet, 7-inches and was fifth in the discus (52- 5).

"In the triple jump, Rodriguez placed fourth (32'-3 1/2"), Dietz finished in fifth (32'-2") and Priestly took sixth (31'-2 3/4"). Ben Sobel '21 won the high jump.
