Tottenham player ratings in FA Cup quarterfinal win

Christian Eriksen demonstrated why he is much more than a member of the supporting cast as he scored another two goals yesterday to ease Spurs into the FA Cup semi-finals at the expense of a Swansea side that never turned up.

Spurs were in total control and ahead as early as the 11th minute, when Eriksen scored another handsome goal to add to his collection.

"Everyone agreed that we had to play at Wembley, so I don't think teams would see it that way", Vertonghen said.

Lamela's goal was crucial, arriving in first half stoppage time to make it 2-0 to Spurs and kill off any thoughts Swansea had of finding a way back into the game in the second half; Eriksen scored goals either side of Lamela's strike.

The semi-finals will take place over the weekend of April 21 and 22. We fully deserved the victory.

'President Donald Trump ready to fire NSA Lt Gen McMaster'
The president was speaking to friends outside the administration about his frustrations with advisers, Mr Kelly suggested. Several reports recently have indicated that McMaster could be the next top official to leave the White House.

Wigan's defeat means it is an all-Premier League line-up.

"If you have watched the last three games, we won with a different starting XI and now today too".

Eriksen then found himself in space again on the edge of the box, but his curling shot was brilliantly tipped onto the bar by Nordfeldt.

Luciano Narsingh of Swansea City crosses the ball under pressure from Ben Davies of Tottenham Hotspur. Erik Lamela effortlessly stroked home Spurs' second in between.

But Spurs made them pay the price when Eriksen fired home a decisive third after Moura's run just past the hour. A cross from the left nearly found Lucas Moura at the near post but he couldn't quite get on the end of it, then Eriksen had a curling effort tipped onto the bar by Nordfeldt and Eric Dier nodded just over as Tottenham totally dominated the first half.
