Patriots QB Tom Brady shaves head to raise money for cancer research

The New England Patriots quarterback participated in a charity event to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute that reportedly raised $6.5 million.

"You know what's going through my mind as I'm sitting there next to Tom Brady?".

Introduced as a "mystery guest", Brady received a buzz cut at the "Saving for Shaving" annual fundraiser for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

Here's what Brady looked like when the haircut started. Brady is now scheduled to make an appearance on "Good Morning America" on Monday, followed by a CBS appearance Monday night when he heads to the "Late Show with Stephen Colbert". Brady's mother, Dalynn, was diagnosed with cancer in June 2016.

A short time later, the Patriots' QB showed off his new haircut with a post on Instagram. "What a fun #SavingByShaving event today".
