Battle Royale Coming To iOS And Android — Fortnite On Mobile

Fortnite developer Epic Games has announced that it's bringing Fortnite Battle Royale to iOS and Android devices everywhere. Starting Monday, players can begin signing up for an invite to play on iOS.

Once the mobile versions reach their final build, both iOS and Android will offer cross-play with PC, PlayStation 4 and even Mac.

Epic Games recently announced that Fortnite is coming to mobile. This is all thanks to the game being free to play as well as being available on more platforms. Console quality graphics and action.

Those chosen will receive an email with instructions on how to download the game to their device. Developer Epic has just updated the map to add more locations, including a new city and mines and showing more love to the Western portion of the map in general. Players granted access will also be given friend invite codes to share with others.

Fortnite's mobile edition requires an internet connection (of course), and an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 device or newer.

That room is likely to be used in part to sign AP Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald to a lucrative long-term extension. The Rams made the playoffs previous year for the first time since 2004, finishing the regular season at 11-5.

Would you play Fortnite Battle Royale on mobile? Though we haven't seen Fortnite's planned mobile control scheme yet, we'd imagine it will end up being a significant handicap compared to players with controllers or a mouse/keyboard setup. An Android launch has been promised, but with a vague schedule of 'the next few months.

Unlike the two PUBG mobile games, which were handed off to another company, Epic Games will handle the mobile versions of Fortnite: Battle Royal in-studio. The goal is to end the match as the last player standing, and you can achieve that in any manner possible. You can check out the Fortnite game in the video above.

You should also see a Fortnite Battle Pass which unlocks tiers, weapons and more. The game will arrive to iOS devices first, while the Android version will be released at a later date. You can play against gamers on PS4, Mac and PC while you play on iOS.

The absolute closest to the full PUBG experience for mobile, at least right now, is Rules of Survival.
