Will E!'s Oscars red carpet with Ryan Seacrest be tape-delayed?

Will E!'s Oscars red carpet with Ryan Seacrest be tape-delayed?

As of Wednesday, Ryan Seacrest, long a red carpet staple, will co-host E!'s coverage as planned. In a statement to THR an E! spokesperson said that the delay was "business as usual".

Deadline spoke to an industry source earlier this afternoon while the decision was still being made, and the quote - about Seacrest's alleged sexual misconduct history and the network's plans to have him on the red carpet even so - is a juicy one.

Sources told Deadline that E! is considering an unusually long time delay, up to 30 seconds, in order to avoid any awkward on-camera moments during Seacrest's red carpet interviews.

Seacrest, who began hosting E!'s Live from the Red Carpet in 2006, has been accused by stylist Suzie Hardy of aggressive sexual advances, groping and sexual molesting, including grabbing her vagina and rubbing against her with an erection, while the pair both worked for E!

"You are a privilege to work with and I adore you", Kelly said of Ryan on March 1. 'I am not a judge. E!, however, denies that anything unusual is being done to protect Seacrest.

Snap reportedly working on new Spectacles, including two-camera version
Sources familiar with the matter tell Cheddar that Snap is now manufacturing a second version of Spectacles for launch this fall. The current Snap Spectacles record 10-second videos with a tap, which can then be uploaded to your Snapchat story.

Seacrest has denied the allegations and E! said in February that there was "insufficient evidence to support the claims", Variety reported.

Neither Kellly or Ryan's reps have spoken out, but one source noted that their friendship has made this whole thing very hard.

This marks the first time that Ripa has defended her co-host on live television. "This is where stuff gets tricky". Scandal actress Bellamy Young was another person who spoke out against Ryan, saying, "I think this is the time to step aside and let someone of equal talent that is beyond reproach to be in charge". 'I can not wait to see you there, ' she said. "I just want to clarify that anyone who uses my quote going forward is using the quote of an uninformed person and fanning the flames of a non-story by making use of an unwitting accomplice".

E! dismissed the news as its normal practice.

A former personal stylist claims that the KUWTK exec-producer sexually harassed her. E! disputes the claims, insisting that Gram-Moreno "was asked not to return due to job performance issues".
