8 things you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S9

This year around, Samsung focused on improving the camera on the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

The new phones boast a dual-aperture camera created to allow better photos in low light, and are capable of shooting video in super-slow motion.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus during a press event at MWC 2018 in Barcelona.

Samsung has also added a feature called AR Emoji, which allows users to take a self-portrait and convert into their own customised emoji.

Packing an octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM, the Galaxy S8+ in question stands strong regardless of what you throw at it.

What with its killer camera (it's the first smartphone with mechanical aperture - meaning that it'll take brilliant photos even when you're in low-light), a better display than ever (it's now AMOLED - so it's ridiculously high quality), and its trademark sleek look, Samsung have created another victor here.

Hands off playoffs - James
However, in both 2010 and 2009, James' Cavs finished with the No. 1 record in the regular season and didn't even make the Finals. He told the Associated Press , "No one told David to just play his harp and not stand up for his people".

You can get this offer here. The front camera can also be used to record full HD videos at 30fps. The f/1.5 aperture is also the lowest we've ever seen on a smartphone. The batteries are rest assured not grenades this time around the S9 will have a 3,000mAh while the plus will sport a 3,500mAh battery and will support wired and wireless fast charging. DJ Koh, president of the company's mobile communications division, introduced the S9 family as "the first smartphone built for the way you use your phone today, and the only smartphone with the power to help you reimagine how you'll experience the world tomorrow".

In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy S9 measures 147.7×68.7×8.5mm and weighs 163 grams; the Galaxy S9+ measures 158.1×73.8×8.5mm and weighs 189 grams.

Additional highlights carry the IP68 rating for water and dust protection.

Samsung Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S9+ has a bigger 6.2-inch display. The OnePlus 5T is offered in two versions - a 64GB version with 6GB of RAM and a 128GB version with 8GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and S9 Plus with 3,500 mAh battery.

Both the phones run the Android 8.0 Oreo OS. However, if the latest rumors are anything to go by, the Galaxy S9 could be priced at Rs 62,500 for the 64GB model, and Rs 71,000 for the 256GB model. It has been announced that Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be launched on March 16 in selected markets - but whether India is one of these selected markets is still unknown. Interested customers can pre-book the device in India for a price of Rs 2000.
