Xiaomi's 4K Mi TV 4 arrives in India at just Rs 39999

While the Redmi Note 5 has already been hinted to be announced on February 14, but the latest product page from Flipkart along with the new teaser from Xiaomi hints that the company might also introduce its first-ever MI TV in India and it could possibly the latest MI TV 4. And as it has been the hallmark of the Chinese brand's campaign in the country, the motto with the new Redmi Note 5 Pro too is to offer more for less.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 Pro will also get "Face Unlock" feature via an Over-The-Air (OTA) update in March. Both the phones come with Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass and 18:9 aspect ratio. Whereas, the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with the price tag Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM option, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 16,999.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 runs on runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. The mid-variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup - It is the first smartphone under Redmi series to feature dual rear cameras.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. Last year, the company had launched the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China, but there was no Redmi Note 5.

It measures 158.5 x 74.45 mm and it weighs 180 grams.
