Antonio Conte reveals when Emerson will make Chelsea FC debut

Antonio Conte says he has no plans to speak with Italian FA vice-commissioner Alessandro Costacurta over the Italy job and intends to see out his contract at Chelsea.

As we reported earlier this week, Conte has publicly stated that he intends to stay at Chelsea for the remainder of his deal, which runs for another 18 months, as opposed to walk away and take another job.

The defending league champions sit in fourth place in the standings, 18 points behind Pep Guardiola's City, with reports suggesting that Conte's relationship with owner Roman Abramovich is strained due to the Italian's thinly-veiled criticism of the club's transfer strategy. "Maybe I'd like the club to prepare a statement for me, no?"

Conte told reporters, "I trust in my work and this is the only way that brought me to be one of the best managers".

Conte has continually complained about his lack of squad depth at Stamford Bridge this season, and clashed with the board over transfer policy.

Speaking at a news conference at Chelsea FC's Cobham training ground on Friday afternoon, Conte said of Emerson: "For me, if a player deserves to play, then he will play".

China accuses United States of 'Cold War mentality' over nuclear policy
Chinese defense ministry spokesperson Ren Guoqiang criticized the US Nuclear Posture Review in a statement released on Sunday. The German response to the USA nuclear review comes on the heels of condemnations from Russia , China, North Korea and Iran.

"But at the same time I know that in the past it never happened, this, and for this reason why would I hope for something different?"

"But I'd like to have a statement of support against this speculation".

It is in stark contrast to Conte's debut season past year when he transformed Chelsea into runaway league champions following their remarkable demise in 2015/16.

"I'm giving all of myself, me and my staff and also my players, for this club", he said.

"People have contracts with clubs all over the world, or personal engagements with clubs or national teams which we are not necessarily aware of".

"But I don't want to be an opportunist". This season the situation has always been the same, with a lot of pressure, a lot of pressure, a lot of pressure around me.
