Ozil signs new Arsenal contract until 2021

Goal reported Wednesday the Germany global had finalised terms on a new long-term deal worth £350,000 a week, bringing months of speculation over his future to an end.

But after a disappointing night for the Gunners with their 3-1 loss to Swansea, they have now had some good news after tying down Ozil and finally landing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund.

Mesut Ozil is set to sign a new contract extension with Arsenal in the coming days, Goal can confirm.

The German playmaker has signed a new contract which will make him Arsenal's highest earner and keep him in North London until 2021.

The separatists have long campaigned for the secession of southern Yemen , which was an independent country before 1990. Troops from both Saudi and the UAE - present in Aden when fighting erupted - did not intervene, reports said.

However, it's claimed the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has showed Ozil of Arsenal's intent and now BBC Sport's David Ornstein claims that a deal was signed on Wednesday for the Germany worldwide to become the club's highest-paid player in the club's history.

The German international's current contract with Arsenal runs until the end of this season. The MLS outfit have maintained their interest in him, however and it is understood he has agreed a deal with them to join them ahead of the new season Stateside in March.

Arsene Wenger had always remained confident that Ozil would agree new terms at the club and hinted last week that the midfielder might put pen to paper. "Hopefully, we will manage to do that very soon".
