First look at Captain Marvel's movie costume isn't what you'd expect

First look at Captain Marvel's movie costume isn't what you'd expect

Because this is all very early in the production, we could see a different version of the costume later on down the line. However, fans have edited the photos to give Carol Danvers a more classic costume.

In Marvel Comics lore, Carol Danvers is an Air Force pilot who gains superpowers after her DNA is fused with that of an alien following an accident. It may not be what you're expecting, as Captain Marvel is typically dressed in a fiery red, but it's important to remember that the early incarnations of Carol's super-suit were, in fact, green. But it also seems likely to incorporate the original Captain Marvel with Jude Law rumored to be playing Mar-Vell in the film. This odd color scheme is more reminiscent of the green attire that makes up Mar-Vell's original costume (though it is worth noting that the design itself is pretty darn faithful, even if the color scheme isn't).

Cardinals hire Steve Wilks as head coach
Wilks replaced McDermott as Carolina defensive coordinator when McDermott was named head coach at Buffalo a year ago. Norman tweeted to Peterson that the Cardinals cornerback was about to go "supersonic" with Wilks as his coach.

Larson, was photographed on Wednesday afternoon while filming in Atlanta, it is believed that the filming is for her appearance in the still untitled fourth instalment of The Avengers. Brig. Gen. Leavitt is a major, real-life inspiration behind the character, Captain Marvel.

And could you guess what color the Kree wore into battle in the comics? "Depending on when and how she'll arrive in the present day, she'd be affected by Thanos" reality warping in the same way that the other Avengers seem to be, and could conceivably be wearing her Kree uniform for any number of reasons. However one of the most anticipated upcoming Marvel films isn't set to premiere until next year, and that's Captain Marvel.
