Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition Announced For The Nintendo Switch

We'll continue to report on the Direct Mini's news as the morning progresses. Originally seen on Nintendo 64 in the year 2000, Mario Tennis has since graced every Nintendo system except Wii (which had its own brand of tennis) and Switch will be no different as Mario Tennis Aces serves up its particular brand of tennis on the console this spring. Among them are a new Mario Tennis game (a sports game franchise featuring characters from the Mario universe that was initially released in North America in 2001) and a remastered version of the blockbuster action adventure game Dark Souls. These remasters will include not only updated graphics but "rebuilt lighting and SFX similar to Dark Souls 3". Switch players will enjoy a new widescreen presentation as well. The update will also include new outfits for Mario, like a Knight costume. And if you're having trouble, the assist mode lets you turn down the game speed or make yourself invincible. The update is coming in February.

Wave 1 releases January 31st and will add Aegislash as a playable fighter along with Mimikyu and Mega Rayquaza as supports. This latest installment of a critically acclaimed series is coming to the Nintendo Switch this Summer.
