Ubisoft Details First Assassin's Creed Origins Expansion, The Hidden Ones

While previous content has been limited to combat events and various costume packs, this month marks the launch of The Hidden Ones.

Ubisoft has been more than happy to keep Assassin's Creed Origins in the spotlight, especially after it impressed many people by revitalizing the Assassin's Creed series. The expansion will take place after the game ends, bringing Bayek to a new region ruled by the Roman Empire, who featured in the original game. The base game deals with topics like preserving the Ancient Egyptian way of life in a changing world, so expect The Hidden Ones to touch upon similar themes.

The mode, in case you're unfamiliar with it, usually opens up in some games after you beat it the first time through, and it adds an extra challenge to it, whether it's with tougher difficulty of AI enemies, or with missions that could take a bit longer to complete. Also, the game's level cap will be raised to 45. The Hidden Ones will be available at no additional cost to Season Pass owners. The exact release date of "The Hidden Ones" has yet to be announced. What we do know is that it'll launch sometime this month.
