H&M slammed over advert of black child in 'monkey' hoodie

Canadian R&B star The Weeknd says he's cutting ties with H&M after being "deeply offended" by an ad for the retailer showing a black child in a hoodie bearing the phrase "Coolest monkey in the jungle".

The retailer has apologised after it faced criticism online from people who accused it of being inappropriate and negligent. Clothing giant H&M has apologized Monday, Jan. 8, 2017, and removed an advertising image of a black model in a sweatshirt with the words?Coolest monkey in the jungle.??

Questlove predicted early Monday that H&M would strike a conciliatory note, but the Roots' drummer/band leader also seemed to be saying it wouldn't be enough. "We understand that many people are upset about the image". "The image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States".

Jio Happy New Year 2018 Offer
Airtel's revised plans come just days after it launched the Rs 799 plan to offer 3.5GB 4G data every day for a period of 28 days. Airtel has altered two of its prepaid plans, adding extra validity in order to go head-to-head with Reliance Jio.

The R&B singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, signed on with H&M a year ago to collaborate on a clothing line.

They continued, claiming they would uncover how the image came to be to begin with: "It is obvious that our routines have not been followed properly".

"Woke up this morning shocked and embarrassed by this photo", the Starboy singer tweeted. "We will thoroughly investigate why this happened to prevent this type of mistake from happening again".
