Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Leaked by Danish Retailer

Both GTA V and RDR2 are developer by Rockstar Games.

A fresh Red Dead Redemption 2 release date of June 8, 2018 has been leaked by a Dutch retailer, making it later than Rockstar's teased "Spring 2018" arrival.

It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 could be even closer than we previously thought. If this is to mean anything, the game will have an online mode where the Cards will be in effect. Join other fans in our community forums and discuss everything Red Dead Redemption 2 related!

Typically, retailers post release dates as placeholders and you can usually dismiss them.

The reason that this is newsworthy, is because Coolshop proved itself accurate with the Grand Theft Auto V release date. Today we learned that the release date for Rockstar's highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 may have been leaked. The once fabled sequel to Rockstar's critically acclaimed western has had next to no information released about it since it was announced aside from two fairly vague trailers.

Are you starving for Red Dead Redemption 2 info? The date is also a Friday, which, next to Tuesday, is a popular release day for high profile games.

This means another, albeit minor, delay might be incoming.

Once again, the time between now and the supposed release window is short, and yet there are no signs of a marketing push. Rockstar thus far has been tight-lipped regarding details of the game including the timing of its launch, only slipping us tidbits and trailers here and there.

June 8 is still half a year away, which, in spite of not being a major difference to Spring, still instills a feeling of dreaded distance.
