EPL: Ashley Young charged by FA, faces three-match ban

Manchester United full-back Ashley Young has been charged with violent conduct, the Football Association (FA) confirmed on Sunday afternoon.

Young, 32, appeared to strike Southampton's Dusan Tadic with an elbow in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

Halsey wrote for The Sun: "Young is facing a retrospective three-match ban for this elbow on Tadic".

The incident was missed by referee Craig Pawson and his officials but picked up on TV cameras after the game and Young has been charged retrospectively.

"He accepted a violent conduct charge following an off-the-ball incident during yesterday's game against Southampton, but argued the suspension was excessive". I didn't really understand.

Customs outage causes delays at airports
According to the standed passengers, the delay was because the computer system to check passports, operated by the U.S. While Customs said its systems were restored by about 10 p.m., airports warned passengers to expect delays tonight.

The former Aston Villa man will now miss out on United's trip to Everton on the New Year's Day, along with Friday's FA Cup third round clash against EFL Championship side Derby County and the home game against Stoke City in the Premier League.

Asked if Young should have been given his marching orders, Tadic had said: "Yes". I can fall down but it was really unusual because I didn't expect that from him'.

Young has enjoyed a fine season at right-back for United and he was named in the England squad last month by manager Gareth Southgate after a lengthy absence.

"I know my players so when I see people like Mata nearly in hysterics I know, no doubt and then at half-time I watch it".
