Powerball, Mega Millions jackpots soar past $300 million

Saturday night's Powerball drawing is for a $384 million jackpot.

The highest all-time Mega Millions jackpot was $656 million, claimed by one person in 2012. The actual estimate of the grand prize Saturday night ballooned to $390.1 million. No winners were immediately announced.

And if that's not enough, there was no victor in Friday night's Mega Millions contest, pushing Tuesday's prize to $343 million. The jackpot prize will be shared among winners in all POWERBALL states.
