Trump Renews Criticism Against Steele Dossier Following Fox Report

Steele himself is a reliable investigator - it was his work that helped reveal a scandal in Federation Internationale de Football Association before he began work looking into then-candidate Donald Trump.

The Washington Times says its sources who are familiar with investigations being pursued by members of both the U.S. House and Senate say the FBI still refuses to "repudiate" the "dossier", even though those same officials admit the major charges are "unsubstantiated".

Early Tuesday morning, before he teed off from his Florida resort, Trump fired off a tweet laden with capital letters about the "bogus" Steele dossier, attacking both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Hillary Clinton in the process. Steele's research alleged that the Russian government had compromising leverage over Trump and that the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russian effort to undermine the Clinton campaign.

"WOW", Trump wrote, pointing to the Fox & Friends report.

Trump said in a Twitter post.

Meanwhile, President Trump's legal team makes a prediction on the Special Counsel's investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation.

The Worthingtons had arrived in Florida on Saturday for the Christmas holiday, Sheriff's office spokeswoman Carrie Horstman said. National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration investigators will look into the cause of the crash.

"Stunning, @foxandfriends "Dossier is counterfeit. FBI TAINTED." And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for going after the Trump Campaign!"

Trump also omits several facts in his tweet.

After the news of Baker's reassignment, Politico reported that Baker had communicated with a Mother Jones reporter just prior to last year's election.

"I know that's disappointing for some people, but the president is highlighting this bias to the American people for good reason", he said. Her campaign hired a law firm which in turn hired Fusion GPS to find opposition research on Trump.

The dossier, which was compiled by former MI6 intelligence officer Christopher Steele, revealed how Trump's business connections to the Kremlin could influence his policy as president. While the dossier was funded in part by Democrats, part of it was also funded by a conservative publication, the Washington Free Beacon, as well.

The document-which was never meant to be made public and therefore wasn't vetted - contains a number of outlandish claims, leading many to view the entire dossier with a healthy dose of skepticism.
