'The Voice' Season 13 Finale Part 2 Recap: Chloe Kohanski Crowned Winner

"Jennifer and Blake pushed their buttons to try to steal me, and instantly I was like, 'I'm from Nashville, I got Southern roots, '" she said.

Cyrus, back as a coach for the second time on "The Voice", was determined to win with one of her artists, particularly over Shelton, who has now won six times. "I'm very stoked that we won this together, that's very fun".

Shelton never had any doubts about Kohanski's abilities, often praising her for her unique style.

The Voice Coach knows that this is a beginning of success for Kohanski who earned the title of The Voice season 13. She's 23. Go into it with an open mind, a creative mind. "If they can really do that it's going to be easy", he said, adding: "If we can't follow through with this thing, then WTF?" Matt Lloyd , a spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the CDC, disputed the story. Analysts reportedly said they were given some alternate phrases to use in place of the banned ones.

Kohanski was a firm fan favourite throughout the thirteenth series of The Voice, belting out rock tracks week in, week out.

During the season, Chloe wowed America with her performances of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart", Blondie's "Call Me" and Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is".

Though Kohanski had been a front-runner much of the season, the raspy-voiced rock vocalist says she never thought winning The Voice was in the bag.

"The record company just needs to give her the platform".

'I used to think that it made me less relevant or held me back but for the first time it's pushing me forward'.

Shelton, meanwhile, always seemed to treat Kohanski as his priority, even over Marlow, his other singer in the final four.
