Patchy fog expected through Monday morning, showers forecast for Tuesday

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for all of west Tennessee and parts of northeast Arkansas and northeast MS until midnight.

Dense fog could linger in some parts of the county especially around rivers and lakes today.

It will be mild and misty overnight with dense fog in places. No severe weather is expected, but isolated flooding will be possible.

It will be cool at first, but temperatures will rise steadily overnight - with values of 9º to 12º by dawn in light to moderate southerly breezes, according to Met Eireann. It is expected to last until midday on Tuesday. Thirty percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 p.m.

The Broncos fumbled the ball, and Ducks linebacker Troy Dye scooped it up and returned it for an incredible 86-yard touchdown. OR was finally on the board, but it managed to squeak out one more stellar scoring play before the half ended.

Rain?: Rain likely until Thursday, when we are finally expected to get a sunny day in New Orleans. A few storms will also be possible to go along with heavy rain. For now, we will forecast mostly cloudy weather Saturday and Sunday with some risk of rain both days; temperatures will be a big forecast challenge with a well-defined front hanging around north Alabama.

Temperatures will be mild tomorrow and Wednesday, with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Early indications suggest that conditions will remain mild up until Christmas Eve, when temperatures are now looking like they will fall to give way to a cold and frosty Christmas Day.
