Samsung's new phones have dual selfie cameras

Samsung has claimed that these smartphones can switch easily and automatically between the two sensors located at the front to render the bokeh effects.

Front camera: On the front, both the phones come with a dual camera system, consisting of one 16-megapixel sensor (f/1.9) and another 8-megapixel sensor to aid in portrait selfies.

Octa-core processor (dual 2.2GHz + Hexa 1.6GHz).

Like the previous Galaxy A range of smartphones, both the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are differentiated with only some features.

"The Galaxy A8 is the smaller of the duo, with a 5.6" FullHD+ display that pushes a 2220×1080 resolution in an 18.5:9 display aspect ratio. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,300mAh battery.

Japan expands sanctions aimed at North Korea
North Korea's growing capabilities reflect a direct threat to our security and the security of the entire world. Attendees generally agreed on the urgency of opening dialogue channels.

If you expected good 12MP cameras with large 1.4micron pixels like on the flagship line, you are in for a disappointment. Let's take a close look at the specifications of the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018). A8 has 4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB internal storage, the bigger A8+ is available in two RAM+storage configurations of 4GB+32GB and 6GB+64GB.

As for connectivity options, the phone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, LTE connectivity, NFC (supports Samsung Pay as well), Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C and Global Positioning System. "These handsets also feature Samsung's first dual front camera with "Live Focus", tech website Sam Mobile reported.

Finally, the phones support Samsung Pay, USB Type-C fast charging, and are IP68 certified.

What is notable from the launch of the new mid-end smartphone is that Samsung made the brand names of the Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus similar to those of its flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus series. A 16MP rear camera adores the back with a bright f/1.7 aperture. The handsets will be soon available for purchase in Europe and other markets.

The smartphone will be available from early January in South Korea in four exciting colours including Black, Orchid Grey, Gold and Blue colour options. There is no information regarding the pricing and availability of the devices, Samsung will reveal more at the CES 2018.
