Chevrolet Silverado Debuts In Rugged Trail Boss Trim

Chevrolet Silverado Debuts In Rugged Trail Boss Trim

General Motors Co GM.N offered a sneak peek on Saturday of the next generation Chevrolet Silverado pickup, created to haul big payloads of profits for the automaker when it launches next year.

The 2019 Silverado's front fascia also features a more prominent grille with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights.

Eight trim variants will be available with the Silverado range, which will also expand to include various engine and transmission combinations, along with different body styles. At the culmination of the Chevy Trucks Centennial Celebration event, which featured NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his 1988 S-10 along with 100 Chevy trucks of all ages and types spelling out a giant "100" in the infield, the sound of a heavy lift helicopter filled the speedway.

As the US's best-selling truck, the F-150 is clearly in Chevy's crosshairs with this Silverado overhaul. All in all, the new design makes for a sleeker, more aerodynamic Silverado. The preview truck wears the forthcoming Z71 Trail Boss package, an off-road kit that likely adds all the rough-and-tumble goodies from past Z71s. Chevy claims the new truck has a new alloy of high-strength steel for the base of the bed, leaving us to speculate on the rumors floating around regarding a bed lined with some new carbon composite material.

Gandhi spoke, outgoing Congress president Sonia Gandhi addressed her party members for the last time as the party president. He was appointed as the party general secretary in 2007 and was elevated as its vice president in January 2013.

We find it odd how the Silverado looks nothing like any other Chevrolet model, especially the crossovers and SUVs. The factory-tested suspension setup, unlike an aftermarket lift, comes fully warrantied by Chevrolet.

The 2019 Chevy Silverado will officially debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show, but Chevy has chose to give everyone an early look at the new Silverado today.

What do you think of the all-new redesign on the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado? While Chevrolet hasn't released any details yet, it did talk about a use of mixed materials throughout, which are meant to reduce total vehicle weight and improve performance. Nowhere is there any mention of aluminum - not surprising, given Chevrolet's very public criticism of Ford's new bodies and beds.
