Cops Eye Tinder Date in Nebraska Woman's Death

Dozens of investigators spent hours Tuesday combing roadside ditches and the edges of cornfields in southeastern Clay County, searching for evidence in the death of Sydney Loofe a day after remains believed to be hers were found in the area.

Two individuals named as people of enthusiasm for Loofe's vanishing, Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, the 23-year-old lady she met on the web, stayed imprisoned on Tuesday on a hold by the US Marshal's Service.

The two posted a freaky video on the Finding Sydney Loofe Facebook page last week claiming they tried to reach out to the police, but never heard back.

In that same video, Boswell said she and Loofe drove around Lincoln, smoked marijuana at her apartment in Wilber and then she dropped Loofe off at a friend's house and hadn't heard from Loofe since. They suspect foul play.

He added that investigators had "extensively explored the statements" Trail and Boswell made denying their involvement in Loofe's disappearance.

Numerous evacuated homes were in that city. "Really, Mother Nature is going to decide when we have the ability to put it out". But the Santa Ana winds could persist into Friday or Saturday, which would likely mean an extension of both warnings.

"We are indeed conducting a very thorough investigation to ensure we can provide an accurate account of what happened to Sydney", FBI Special Agent in Charge Randy Thysse said at a news conference Tuesday. She was recognized as a well mannered and sympathetic individual who contributed at whatever point required. They're both in jail after being arrested on unrelated warrants. Bliemeister said authorities thus far have been unable to confirm Boswell's timeline.

Sydney Loofe, 24, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was last seen on 15 November after going to meet another woman.

Loofe's disappearance prompted a widespread investigation involving the FBI, Lincoln police and multiple sheriff's offices. "We have apparently put her into human trafficking and sold her", Trail said sarcastically. She had told a friend before her second date that things were going well and she was "excited to go on another date with her". "We were planning to go to the casino that weekend", Boswell said.

Last night Sydney's parents issued a Facebook post asking, "Please continue to pray for Sydney and our entire family". Police released several photos of Trail and Boswell to help locate them. May God grant eternal rest unto thee. "We'll still work toward that end, but again, the analysis of the (digital records) was what led us to the discovery of who we believe to be Sydney".

Investigators would not get more specific about the area where Loofe's body was found, other than to say it was an open area, and not in an urban environment. "If they had done an ID verification, even a simple verification app, that scares people away".
