Stephen Curry on Crutches After Late-Game Ankle Injury

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry left Monday's 125-115 win over the New Orleans Pelicans with a sprained right ankle. The two-time MVP was on crutches after the game and he was also wearing a walking boot, but X-rays on the ankle came back negative. We should have an update from the team on Tuesday.

Curry spoke the assembled media in New Orleans and addressed his injury.

Curry is averaging 45.1 FanDuel points in 23 games this season.

McCaw was met at the rim by DeMarcus Cousins during Monday's game and sat out the remainder of action after bleeding profusely from his nose after hitting the floor.

Elton John's Mother Tragically Passes, Age 92
Elton John's mother sadly died on Monday, Dec. 4, the music sensation announced via Instagram alongside a photo of the two. The 70-year-old singer hadn't seen his mother - Sheila Farebrother - for around nine years until May this year.

"All things considered, I should, knowing I've been through this before on this ankle and knowing the surgical repairs from five, six years ago are fine, I should be able to bounce back", Curry said.

Curry did suffer a sprained right knee in the first round of the 2016 playoffs against Houston, returning to the Warriors late in their second-round series against Portland. "Obviously a sucky situation, but I'll be back", Curry said. I got caught on E'Twaun's shoe as I went by him and couldn't catch myself.

Steph Curry will miss the Warriors' game Wednesday in Charlotte with an injured right ankle, Chris Haynes of ESPN.com reports.
